The State Bank of India (SBI) has announced the recruitment of 2964 Circle Based Officer (CBO) positions for the 2025–26 cycle. The application window is open from May 9 to May 29, 2025, and the online examination is tentatively scheduled for July 2025

• Educational Qualification: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government. Candidates possessing qualifications such as Medical, Engineering, Chartered Accountant, and Cost Accountant are also eligible
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as an officer in a Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank as of April 30, 2025

Age Limit: 21 to 30 years as of April 30, 2025 (i.e., born between May 1, 1995, and April 30, 2004). Age relaxation applies as per government norms.

• Language Proficiency: Candidates must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking the local language of the circle they are applying for. Proof of language proficiency must be provided, preferably through Class 10 or 12 mark sheets

Salary: Starting basic pay of ₹48,480 in the scale of ₹48,480–2000/7–₹62,480–2340/2–₹67,160–2680/7–₹85,920 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I plus 2 advance increments. Additional allowances include DA, HRA/Lease rental, CCA, PF, Contributory Pension Fund (NPS), LFC, Medical Facility, etc
